On Sunday, October 9, 2016, Wizkid‘s in-law, Seun
Rowland Awoniyi died in a US hospital after a long battle
with cancer.

Since his death no official statement has been made by
his immediate family but his social media page has been
filled with many rest in peace messages.
Awoniyi is Wizkid’s elder sister’s Yetunde Balogun
husband with who she had two children. It took the
Starboy music act 10 long days to comment on the death
of his late brother-in-law on his social media page.
